Mom. Teacher. Coach.
Three hats, one house, and a system that had to work at 7pm on a Tuesday or it didn't count.
These are my systems
I'm Connie Miller. Mom of three, former fourth-grade teacher, parent coach. For years I could run a classroom of twenty-eight nine-year-olds with patience to spare and still lose the plot at my own 7pm. The degree didn't fix it. Two years of coach training didn't fix it on its own. Writing the plays down for my own house did.
So that's what I did. Mornings, homework, screens, the after-school crash, bedtime, the friend drama, the long summer, one system at a time, tested on my own kids on real school nights and real summer afternoons when nobody felt like it. I kept what worked, cut what didn't, and every one of these still lives in my house. The routines stuck. The trackers come back out whenever we drift.
I didn't build these for a product line. I built them for my kitchen, to lighten my own load first, and they did. Not perfectly. Smoother. That's the promise, and it's the same one I make the dozens of families I coach.
My systems, your house
Proven systems, tailored to your family the way they're tailored to mine. The system is the engine. The currency is swappable. Your family is the driver. Your values, your kids, your version of chaos, your times, your rules, your reward. I'm my own best client. These are my systems. I use them every day. Now they're yours.
Who they're for
You're great at your job. You can run a meeting, a budget, a team. Then it's 7pm and your own kitchen takes you down. I'm not going to tell you to quit, slow down, or burn it all down. I'm going to hand you the plays that work when you're tired, so home stops being the hard part.
Why Hat-Trick
I wear three hats: mom, teacher, coach. So do you, whether anyone handed them to you or not. The Nurturer keeps the connection. The Manager runs the logistics. The Leader keeps her own head on straight so the whole house isn't running on fumes. The playbooks take the Manager hat off your plate, so you have something left for the other two.
The credentials, since you'll ask
Master's in Educational Psychology. Master Certified Parent Coach. A former fourth-grade teacher with fifteen years in the classroom. PTA President at Westerly Creek Elementary in Denver. Mom of three. Coach to dozens of families who are great at work and tired at home.
What you'll find here
Playbooks for the seasons of family life: the Summer Playbook, the School Year Playbook, and more on the way. Food Explorer, free, inside every set. Chalk Talk, if you want me in the room to install one. And the plays I run at home, on Instagram at @fullcaffhattrick.
Start any week. Seriously.
There's no wrong time to open one of these. The cracks they fix don't care what month it is. Pick a Sunday, run week one, you're on pace. You didn't miss the boat. You're right on time.
